Decal

Projects a decal onto a surface. The decal is projected when the part is shown, it starts from the position and appears on the first surface that it hits. The red positional arrow indicates the direction.

You can easily find it by clicking on the sign and typing decal.

Just a very basic decal with randomized color, aim at a surface and press R.

color

Color of the decal. Some materials can't be colored.

alpha

Visibility of the decal. 1 means the decal is fully visible, 0 means it's invisible.

material

Changes the material of the decal. Click on to select. Custom materials and more advanced options are available through the :material: Material part.

ignore owner

Stops decals from projecting onto the owner (playermodel by default).

name

Custom name of the decal that will be displayed in the editor. Helps with organization. You should probably keep it unique to avoid conflicts.

hide

Hides (disables) the decal. All children are hidden as well.

Decals get projected onto a surface when shown.

is explicit

Marks the decal as explicit. Players using pac_hide_disturbing 1 won't be able to see it.

parent name

Parent of the decal. Click on 1) to select.

aim part name

Aims the decal at another part. Set angles to 0 0 0 for this to work properly.

bone

The bone that the decal is attached to. Click on 2) to select.

position

Changes the position of the decal on each axis (X Y Z).

eye angles

Aims the decal at whatever you're looking at. Set angles to 0 0 0 for this to work properly.
